NR3K Field Day 2001
Gibb's Place
This year we had Field Day at the Stock family Recreation Area. This is a very nice place for anyone. If has pavilions, horse shoe pits, bathrooms (with running water) and plenty of things for the kids to play on. We have reserved this for next year.

I don't think I need to explain this picture.

Here is our Field Day setup. We had computers logging everything this year which really helped. I must have been late on the scores as I had not seen them published in QST.

Here is the AWESOME generator of Mike's (NM3O). This will baby NEVER got bogged down. The whole area is wired up for this plug. This ran the Big pole lights as wells as all of our rigs and coffee pots.

Here is one og the views of the area. Normally parking is on the other side of this area. Since there weren't a lot of us there, we all paked over here. We set up just to the left of Phil's Camper in the pavilion.

Here is Kelly, N3HSY. The is Sunday morning. Finally some sun. Saturday has been miserable with all of the rain.

I believe Robin, KK5SS, was running 20 meters at this location using the County's Kenwood TS-440.
This is Mike, NM3O looking over the operating tables

Here you have John, WB3GPY, on the left and Mike, NM3O, on the right. This picture was taken Sunday morning.
Ok, so there is finally a picture of me (KF3DY) out here on the net. Don't ask me who I was talking to as I do NOT remember.

We had to make sure we had enough grills for all of the food we ate. If you noticed in the background, we could have brought a pig along also. Off to the right (outside of the picture) is where the fire pit and horse shoe pits are setup.

This picture was taken Saturday evening. This is Jason, N3KCM, cooking up some chicken for all of us.

This little guy comes to visit us every year!!! He lives about 1/2 mile up the road from this place.
The last 2 pictures are of the park itself.
